Ray Bush – Managing Director

Ray is the founder and managing director of MRC. He started his career in cinema, performing royalty calculations and accountancy, and remained in film for 12 years before being headhunted to join Cooking Vinyl & Essential Music in 2011.
Ray was appointed Head of Finance and was also tasked with creating and heading a royalty department for Cooking Vinyl & Essential Music. Due to third party interest this department broke away from the CV Group to become a company in its own right – The Music Royalty Co.
Cooking Vinyl & Essential Music remain both excellent clients and partners.
Tegan Sims – Head of Royalties

A founding member of MRC, Tegan joined Ray at Cooking Vinyl & Essential Music after five successful years learning her trade at Westbury Music Publishing.
Tegan is the backbone and stability of the MRC royalty team, whose immense hard work and talent are the driving force behind the scenes.
Joe Gilbert – Finance Manager

Joe has recently joined MRC from Cooking Vinyl & Essential Music to head up the expanding finance team.
Joe is a very determined, hardworking and talented individual.
Leo Parker – Analytics Manager
(Omnifone, PRS for Music, Cyclops Records & Demon FM)
Leo is an expert in digital and data intelligence, and a real technician in system installation. Leo studied Sound Technology, graduating with a first class honours BSc, which is evident in his forensic approach to royalty audits and system transfers.
Sarah Henderson – Royalty Assistant
Sarah joined MRC as an interim office assistant on an internship, having recently graduated with a Music Management degree.
It was immediately clear how brilliant Sarah is – she was given a full time role and fast tracked into a royalty position. She is now an integral member of the MRC team and a shining beacon for any aspiring to break into the music industry.
Annie Barden – Finance Assistant
Annie was MRC’S first staffing recruit, joining as a part-time account assistant whilst finishing her degree in Professional Accounting.
Her inquiring nature and methodical approach quickly impressed and, after graduating with a 2:1 in July 2015, she was welcomed full-time to the MRC team.
Lucilla Green – Business Development Consultant

Lucilla joined MRC after four successful years as Head of Royalties for Merlin.
Her knowledge of the music industry and royalties will be an integral part of growing the MRC client base.
Tom Makins – Neighbouring Rights & Publishing Manager

Tom twin-tracked his Music Business degree studies with employment at Cooking Vinyl, where he went on to work for four years.
Starting off in publishing and neighbouring rights, he progressed to become Licensing and Catalogue Manager for the CV Group.
His crossover of extensive knowledge and experience in both publishing and records puts him in the perfect position to oversee neighbouring rights and publishing accounts for The Music Royalty Co.
